There is a lot of confusion surrounding the issue of which manufacturers have obtained permission to sell a licenced version of the boot patented by Alexandra Boeck in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Stateside. This is not helped by the multiple names that the Products are sold under 'Original Powerisers', PoweriZers, and Pro Jumper to name a few.
Anyone who wishes to import or manufacturer the product patented by Mr Boeck needs to have an agreement in place with the patent holder. This agreement normally involves some kind of fee being paid to the Patent holder for each item that is sold.
Mr and Mrs Alexandra Boeck are understandably very keen to protect their 'invention' and have applied for patents in numerous countries around the world and are known to take action against companies that have not been appointed to sell or manufacture the product in a country where he holds a patent.
The situation in the United Kingdom is currently is that you must be an approved brand importer to legally import and distribute this product. Selling Powerisers without an agreement with the Boecks is like lighting the blue touch paper on a firework and waiting for the explosion. In fact custom officers have been known to stop goods that infringe the copyright from being unloaded at the dockside.
Therefore although you won't be breaking the law personally if you buy a product that is not covered by an agreement we strongly advise that you do. Any company that has gone through the proper channels will at least prove to be more trustworthy and reliable than other as they will have a larger financial stake in their business. A holder of an exclusive importer agreement should also operate a tighter business model and offer improved both pre and after sales service.
This website sells the 'Original Poweriser' version of the patented product manufactured in Korea by Hi Tech. These Powerisers are then imported into the country by Original Poweriser who are holders of an exclusive distributor agreement with the Boecks.
